This is Jil!

Jil is an Italian-Hungarian illustrator and animator who is passionate about telling stories through illustration and animation and is currently based in the UK. Growing up in a highly creative household, she was encouraged to explore different art forms and mediums, giving her a drive for continuous growth and exploration.

After finessing her illustration and animation skills at the University of Cumbria, she had the opportunity to work with Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre, transforming carefully designed illustrations into motion in After Effects to help make research and patient involvement more diverse and accessible.

In addition to her passion for all things creative, she is fascinated by how languages shape people and cultures differently and loves adding new languages to her repertoire (German, English, Italian, Hungarian and currently adding Japanese and Korean).
She is available for any short/long term project work, may it be on a contractual or freelance basis. Please feel free to contact her on any of the links included here!

"Jil designed, illustrated and animated some infographics for the CRUK Cambridge Centre to highlight diversity and inclusion and how we work with patient groups here at the Centre. She has produced some beautiful work that we have already used in posters and presentations. I found her very personable to work with and am impressed with the quality of her work, especially as this was her first project after training. Its not subject matter that she is used to portraying and she has taken feedback really well and really grasped what we needed and delivered excellent work. We will be using her work as a Centre for years to come and I would recommend her highly."
